About Our Ministry
At MWS Bethany Nursing Home, we serve residents through monthly befriending sessions, Sunday worship services at the home, and festive programmes during Chinese New Year and Christmas. Through regular presence and heartfelt connection, we build a warm community of care and companionship.
What we do
Monthly Befriending Visits
Volunteers spend time with residents in the Peace ward — talking, listening, praying and playing games together.
Worship Services
5th Sunday services held on-site for residents to worship together as a community.
Festive Programmes
Special activities during Chinese New Year and Christmas seasons to bring joy and warmth to residents.

Monthly Home Visit — Every 1st Saturday
Volunteer with us on the first Saturday of each month. Depending on the visit, you may be helping in one of two ways:
Serve Breakfast in the Ward
Help serve and share breakfast with residents right in the ward, bringing warmth and company to their morning.
Wheel Residents to the Coffeeshop
Accompany residents on a short outing to the nearby coffeeshop, sharing a meal together outside the home.
Join a Festive Outing
Once or twice a year, we organise special outings to uplift the spirits of residents and bring them beyond the walls of the home. Past outings have included a visit to VivoCity (2024) and the Gardens by the Bay Flower Dome (2025). These moments of joy and wonder mean the world to our residents.
