Mothers as Ambassadors of Christ - Ms Carol Loi and Ms Nicole Soh

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀. 𝗜𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲.

God’s grand story starts with creation, where He said, “Everything is good.” But sin came into the world. God loved us so much that He came to redeem us. But that’s not the end of the story. One day, we will have a new heaven and a new earth. God is going to come, and we will dwell with Him eternally.

All of us are called into the ministry of reconciliation. We have been reconciled to our Father through the work of the cross so that we can reconcile others.

I did not have a good relationship with my mom growing up. I went through a rebellious phase where I became a staunch non-Christian. Looking back, I know my mom must have prayed a lot for me. After she passed, God used my children to bring me back to Him, and God worked in my pre-believing husband’s heart until he was eventually baptized.

God has been faithful to our family—across many generations, countless prayers, and years of waiting and interceding. Our God is not far away, and He does hear us. My mom did not see the fruit of her prayers in her lifetime, but that does not mean the seed did not bear fruit. It is all in God’s timing, in God’s grand story.
